Urgent Dental Care for Children in Warner Robins GA

Warner Robins GA pediatric dentist Dr. Pennington with a patientIf your child has a toothache, it can be from a variety of causes. There could be a cavity close to the nerve, an infection, a loose tooth or a number of other reasons. When tooth pain occurs, the most important thing is to act quickly to get your child out of pain. Our goal at Warner Robins Pediatric Dentistry is to get your child seen quickly so we can figure out what is causing the pain and then come up with a plan to make your child feel better.

Another common dental emergency is trauma to the teeth. Kids are active and sometimes accidents happen. We often see kids who have chipped, knocked out, or loosened their teeth. There are a variety of factors that determine what the best course of treatment is, but there are some good guidelines to follow for dental trauma:

  1. If there are any other medical issues including head injuries, please see a physician first.
  2. Contact our office by calling (478) 449-4200. For our patients we have an after hours phone line that is just for emergencies.
  3. If a tooth is knocked out or loose it is very important how the tooth is stored. First save the tooth or any pieces of the tooth. The best place for the tooth to be stored until Dr. Brandon can see you child is in the mouth. If the tooth is out of the mouth the next best option is for the tooth to be in a tooth saver solution. If all else fails milk is better than nothing at all. Water is not a good option.
  4. It is important to contact our office quickly. For some dental injuries being treated quickly will improve the health of the injured tooth.
  • review rating 5  They were very friendly.. the dentist actually took the time to help educate you on what's going on.. I didn't have to wait a long time.. from the front desk to the dental assistant were so friendly... I'm thinking about making this a permanent dental place for all of my kids... They don't wear white coats because most kids have white coat syndrome.. soooo friendly I love the place... I have been looking for a dentist for my kids and have been settling.. so 2020 I'm transferring my kids here.. 😁😁🤩🤩

They are very good with kids especially if you have a very inquisitive child like mine. The atmosphere from the front desk to the rooms were very clean. If you’re for a Dental hygienists with patience and kindness and will take his their time with your children, this is the place to visit. We have now found the right dentist for our son. Thank you

  • review rating 5  My whole experience was wonderful. I took my 10 month old in for her very first dental appointment. The receptionists on the phone were very helpful when scheduling, the dental assistant who brushed my daughters teeth was so sweet and wonderful with her, and last but not least the Dr was so friendly and gentle with my daughter, and was great at explaining everything to me as well.

review rating 5  Best pediatric dentist and staff I’ve ever encountered! The examination was thorough and they swiftly took care of my concerns for my child. I’ve been searching for a pediatric dentist for months. I called them once and my son had an appointment the next day! My 4 year old is a really tough critic (as they are) lol He’s not a fan of “doctors” but he won’t stop talking about his appointment. He’s actually excited to see them again! ❤️

review rating 5  Was referred by our regular dentist for a cavity filling for my 5 year old daughter. Showed up for our consult, and they were able to work her in immediately for her filling. We were out in an hour and a half. Loved Dr. Brandon too- he and Kayla were excellent with my girl.

review rating 5  Visited the office with my 5 year old after being referred by her "normal" dentist. I LOVED THIS OFFICE!! The entire staff made us feel like so welcome! Dr Pennington took time to explain everything about my daughter's upcoming procedure and answered all my questions. By the end of the visit, I requested all my children (3 of them)records be sent to Dr. Pennington's office and set my boys up for their next appointment! I have finally found an amazing dentist for my kids to make them feel comfortable! Thank you everyone for being amazing today!
